Over the past 100 days, our Association has experienced significant growth and development, as some of our plans and initiatives have come to fruition. This milestone would not have been possible without the unwavering support and active participation of every single one of you as OOUMSAITES, and for that, we are sincerely grateful. We’re grateful for the support and enthusiasm that we have received thus far.
We’re truly excited for the future and what lies ahead, and we hope you are as well- even as we work hard to fulfill each promise we made to you.
This report highlights our achievements so far and outlines our vision for the future as we strive to be a truly BEST FOR ALL administration.
Metamorphosis—OOUMSA Parrot III

In 2018, The 2nd edition of the OOUMSA Parrot Magazine, tagged “Est Pura Cordis” was released, with its contents tailored to being a prerequisite for an healthy generation.
7 years later, we launch the 3rd Edition of the OOUMSA Parrot, tagged “Metamorphosis: Navigating New Professional Landscapes” with content tailored to documenting the rapid changes within our healthcare delivery systems; and recording the struggles, adaptations and commitment of healthcare workers to healing in a world that often seems indifferent to those who heal.
The Parrot has taken flight, once more. May it never again be caged.

This International Women’s Day, we spotlight the women who have defied the odds—medical doctors who stepped beyond the walls of medicine into leadership, politics, and advocacy. Their journeys are stories of resilience, impact, and the courage to lead.
To mark this day, we proudly launch the OOUMSA Women in Leadership document—an inspiring piece that amplifies their voices and reinforces the need for equal representation in leadership.

This document aims to recognize and celebrate members of our association who have shown excellence not only in Academics but in other walks of life ranging from Leadership, Tech and Innovation, Sports, Entrepreneurship to even Entertainment and Content creation to mention a few!
